Charge Your Camera

CanvaCameraCharged

Well, we hiked a good part of the West Bench trail yesterday on the Grand Mesa. Did I bring my camera with me? Yeppers, I sure did.

Did I remember to charge my camera battery after we went camping? Nope. Sure didn’t.

Lesson learned: Always keep your camera charged and ready to go!

Next time, I guess.

Still, the day was beautiful, and the trail is awesome. We only turned around because the kids got hungry. And whiny. They do that, you know.

So we went back to the Jeep and found a nice spot on the way to Carson Lake to barbecue. After that, we made our way down Land’s End road–and be still my heart, that road is a little scary in spots if you have to pass someone! We’ve driven it before, and I don’t remember it being that bad, but it was a busy weekend, and there was a lot of traffic.

Anyway, it was a fun day trip! Definitely check out the Mesa if you’re in the area. And bring bug spray. Because if you don’t, the mosquitoes will carry you away, and you’ll never be heard from again.
