Check Out a Colorado Park Pass from the Library!

I’m a fan of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, but this new program is just amazing. Starting June 20th, each participating library will have two Colorado Park Passes available to borrow.

The pass comes with a backpack full of goodies like binoculars and field guides, and it’s valid for seven days.

If you don’t have an annual pass, I strongly urge you to check out this program. This is amazing!

I browsed the list, and, from what I can tell, all of the Mesa County (Grand Junction and surrounding areas) are participating. Each branch should have their own passes available. If you check one out, let me know how you like it! I’m probably going to go down to the Fruita branch today or tomorrow and see if I can take a look at the backpack goodies.
